About Our Beef

Our goal is to provide our customers the absolute highest quality beef and the flexibility to be able to choose how their beef is finished. The Miller Moth Ranch has been raising cattle since the 1950s. All of our cattle are raised on the ranch from birth. They graze and have room to roam on thousands of acres of grassland. We rotate our cattle from different pastures. They are never given antibiotics or growth promoting hormones. We practice sustainability through all operations throughout the ranch.

Grass Fed and Grass Finished: Our grass fed beef is very unique. They are born on the ranch and pasture raised. We then put them out on naturally planted forage grasses. This naturally supplements their nutrition for the last few months before we harvest them. This process helps to naturally produce better marbling.

Grass Fed and Grain Finished: These cattle are pulled off of pasture and fed grain for the last 3 months before butcherd. They are fed barley hay and grain. This creates the ultimate marbling and fat content in the beef. This meat would grade prime or choice if graded.

  • Quarter:  $1,215 (135 lbs)
  • Half: $2,475 (275 lbs)
  • Whole: $ 4,950 (550 lbs)

​How It Works

Step One:

Purchase or Reserve your beef:
  • We offer Quarters, Halves, or Wholes.
  • Grass Fed Beef will be available July/August 2024.
  • Grain Finished Beef available now ($1.90 per pound). Next available will be October 2024. 
  • Prices determined by cattle market prices as time of sell. 
Step 2:
  • If you would like your animal processed we schedule a harvest date with Ranchita Meat Company.
  • The animal is aged for 2 weeks and then cut and wrapped.
  • You will complete a cut sheet with Ranchita Meat Company.
