About Our Beef
Our goal is to provide our customers the absolute highest quality beef and the flexibility to be able to choose how their beef is finished. The Miller Moth Ranch has been raising cattle since the 1950s. All of our cattle are raised on the ranch from birth. They graze and have room to roam on thousands of acres of grassland. We rotate our cattle from different pastures. They are never given antibiotics or growth promoting hormones. We practice sustainability through all operations throughout the ranch.
Grass Fed and Grass Finished: Our grass fed beef is very unique. They are born on the ranch and pasture raised. We then put them out on cut forage hay that is grown on the ranch. This naturally supplements their nutrition for the last few months before we harvest them. This process helps to naturally produce better marbling.
Grass Fed and Grain Finished: These cattle are pulled off of pasture and fed grain for the last 3 months before harvested. They are fed barley hay and grain. This creates the ultimate marbling and fat content in the beef. This meat will grade high choice to prime.
Custom Processing: At the Miller Moth Ranch, we are home to Ranchita Meat Company. Our beef never leave the ranch until you come and pick up your meat! All of our beef are processed though our butcher shop. Ranchita Meat Company is a custom butcher shop. One unique aspect to buying beef in bulk is you get to decide what you want to do with the meat when it is being cut and wrapped. You choose everything so you get to customize it to what fits your lifestyle. We love helping answer questions or helping people if it is your first time!
